Stability AI, the reigning champion of open-source AI, has dropped this super-fast image generator called SDXL Turbo. It cuts down the image creation steps from a whopping 20-30 to just one. Yep, you read that right – one single step. You type, and boom, there’s your image.

Now, while playing around with it, you might notice the pics are not exactly top-notch, especially if you've seen what Midjourney can do. This is because the Stable Diffusion models need some fine-tuning to really shine. But fear not, the community is on it. They're already working on finetunes, and some crafty Twitter users have even paired it up with ComfyUI for better results.
